St. Mary’s Middle School is a Catholic school community committed to forming intentional disciples of Jesus Christ. We seek a dedicated and dynamic Middle School Math Teacher to join our faculty either full-time or in a well-organized part-time role. The ideal candidate will not only foster academic excellence in mathematics but also actively support the mission of Catholic education by modeling faith, integrity, and service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach mathematics to students in grades 6–8 using engaging, differentiated instruction that promotes critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Develop and implement standards-aligned lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning needs and styles.
• Integrate Catholic values and teachings into daily lessons, classroom interactions, and learning goals.
• Use technology effectively to enhance instruction and assessment.
• Promote a growth mindset and positive classroom environment rooted in faith and respect.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, administration, and support staff to ensure a unified and faith-filled educational experience.
• Participate actively in school liturgies, faith formation activities, faculty meetings, and professional development.

Qualifications:

• A practicing Catholic committed to the mission of Catholic education and in full communion with the teaching of the Church, or an educator firmly committed to the mission and values of the Catholic Church.
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required.
• Middle School Mathematics Endorsement strongly preferred.
• Prior teaching experience in a middle school or upper elementary setting preferred.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to ongoing spiritual and professional growth.

Position: Elementary Teacher Aide (Full-Time)

We are seeking a compassionate, collaborative and dependable full-time Teacher Aide to assist in elementary classrooms and contribute to a learning environment that nurtures the spiritual, intellectual, and social development of every student.
The Teacher Aide will work closely with classroom teachers to support instructional activities, student learning, and the overall well-being of our students. The ideal candidate will be a team player who values the mission of Catholic education and demonstrates care and respect in all interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers with classroom instruction, learning activities, and student supervision.
• Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce concepts, support learning, and monitor progress.
• Prepare instructional materials, organize classroom resources, and maintain a welcoming learning environment.
• Model and reinforce Catholic values, virtues, and positive behavior through personal example and student interactions.
• Participate in school Masses, liturgical celebrations, faith formation opportunities, professional development, and faculty activities.
